STUDENT PRIZES IN RECOGNITION OF EXCELLENCE

As part of the greater commitment to promoting, encouraging and training students from all over the world, APOS holds prize incentives for the best student oral presentations. We are very pleased to announce this year's event is supported by our cooperating organisation, SPIE and by IEEE NSW .

SPIE Best Student Paper Awards

There are three very generous prizes for the SPIE Best Student Paper Award:

1st Place - $US 250, 50 SPIE Digital Library Downloads, 1-year student membership

2nd Place - $US 200, 25 SPIE Digital Library Downloads, 1-year student membership

3rd Place -  $US 50, 15 SPIE Digital Library Downloads, 1-year student membership

STUDENTS wishing to enter the SPIE student prize must declare their student candidature and also must give the presentation at the conference. Judging will be carried out by Subcommittee Chairs or members during the event.

IEEE NSW Best Student Poster Awards

In addition to SPIE sponsored Best Student Paper Awards, IEEE NSW is supporting the recognition of work articulated in an outstanding way in poster format with the following cash prizes:

1st Place - $AUS 250

2nd Place - $AUS 150

3rd Place -  $AUS 100

STUDENTS wishing to enter the IEEE NSW student prize must declare their student candidature when submitting online to MySPIE and also must present their poster at the conference. Judging will be carried out by Subcommittee Chairs or members during the event.
